There are very few jetties around
the bay that have the same
character that this jetty
had. It's unique structure
and archway, free of warning
signs, light posts and handrails
is of an era now almost completely
gone. Sadly, in Spring of
2006 this jetty was pulled down,
but the yacht club have worked
hard to raise the funds to replace
it with a new modern
jetty.
