Passing
Storm - Back To Front: The Coastline of the
Mornington Peninsula
Location:
Mornington Peninsula
Date
Released: May 2004
Pulpit Rock stands of the southern
most tip of Cape Schanck and has
miraculously survived the sea's
continual and brutal
onslaught. The rock platform
it stands on is now separated from
the mainland by a very deep and
choppy gorge. Thunderous
waves come roaring through this
gorge between the platforms of
Cape Schanck and Pulpit
Rock. On this day, after
standing in the rain for just over
45 minutes, and as I was packing
up to go home, this awesome
rainbow suddenly appeared,
stretching from the edge of
Bushrangers bay in the east, right
over to Pulpit Rock where I was
standing. It was so big, I
couldn't fit it in to
frame.
