On a cool Spring morning, the sun
rises just above the horizon,
bringing a warm glow to the face
and the news of a wonderful day of
weather. This time of year
the beach has been washed clean of
the usual seaweeds that coat the
sand like carpet.
Everything feels fresh and new,
and the fishermen who make their
way down to the water are
encouraged and hopeful of a
successful day out in the
sea. Although I don't shoot
many black and white photos, I
felt that this image had a classic
feel and the light under the jetty
was a perfect highlight for this
format.
