Kananook
Creek Footbridge - Back To Front: The Coastline of the
Mornington Peninsula
Location:
Mornington Peninsula
Date
Released: April 2005
The
mouth of Kananook Creek is a busy
little waterway, accommodating
both small fishing boats and
pleasure craft. In addition, the
foreshore around Kananook Creek is
equally as busy, with developments
continually changing and improving
this wonderful area. The
footbridge design has an artistic
flair and is the main path between
the northern and southern
beaches. The bridge is also
a popular place for couples to
stop and watch as the sun goes
down over the horizon, and at
night, it is lit up with a
colourful display of lights along
its crossing arches.
